What kind of hunting clothes should I choose?

Different hunts, different needs. We are aware of this and therefore we have tried to make it easy for you. If you click on a specifc jacket or a pair of trousers on our webshop, you can find out what kind of hunting the specific product is perfect for.

I need an all-round set, what should I choose?

We would recommend our Aslak set: Aslak Hugin + Aslak Teit. The set can be used almost all year, as you simply build or reduce the amount of midlayers to adapt to the climate. It’s an incredibly flexible setup that enables you to take on and off layers during the hunt if the activity or temperature suddenly changes.

What size should I use?

We have made a size guide available under all products. Here’s a measurement chart, so you can find out what size to order.

PRODUCT CARE

Should I impregnate the clothes?

Jackets and trousers from Northern Hunting are pre-impregnated. However, it is always a good idea to impregnate the clothes continuously. In this regard: Impregnating, that is sprayed directly on the clothes, is very good. Do not use impregnation, where you have to wash the clothes in the washing machine afterwards, since it can cause damage on the membrane in the clothes.

Can I wash the clothes in the laundry machine?

Yes, all Northern Hunting products tolerate machine wash. However, we recommend that clothes with membrane, washes carefully. No fabric softener and avoid excessive centrifugation. We encourage you to always read the care label in your clothes. The icons and text will guide you on how to treat your clothes with care.

Does the cotton shirts shrinks?

Cotton shirts from Northern Hunting are pre-washed, which means that a 3 – 5% shrinking can be expected. If you click on a specific shirt, you can read how much it’s shrink.

DELIVERY

What delivery options can I choose?

We offer delivery to a home address and a parcel shop with GLS and delivery to a company address with GLS. NOTE: Delivery with GLS to a company address can only be done if you write the name of the company address in your delivery information.

When will my item be delivered?

We usually ship the order within 24 hours. If you have ordered home delivery with GLS, you will receive your item within 2-5 working days depending on where in the world you live. If you are not at home when the item is delivered, GLS will deliver your package in the nearest parcel shop, after which you will be notified by SMS or mail where you can pick up your package.

Is shipping available in my country?

As a starting point we ship to the whole world. If you cannot choose your country as a shipping method, please contact us at info@northernhunting.com. Then we will love to help you.

RETURN, COMPLAINTS & CHANGE OF A STYLE

I have regretted my purchase - what do I do?

You have 100 days right of return when you shop at Northernhunting.com.
The period for return expires 100 days after the day you receive your product.
You can cancel your purchase by using our included return guide that came with the package when you received your order. You cannot regret your order by simply denying the package.

If you wish to return, please do the following:

  • Pack the goods securely and do not put a shipping label on the original packaging.
  • Fill in the return slip below and enclose this entire slip in the package.
  • Send the package to Northern Hunting, Transportcenter Alle 19, 7400 Herning, Denmark.

Remember to get shipping receipt. The parcel is your responsibility till delivery at Northern Hunting.

I have a complaint - what do I do?

When you shop at www.northernhunting.com you get a 24-month warranty. This means that you either get the item repaired, replaced, a refund or reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. There is an additional 36 months’ warranty on selected articles. In our online store, products with 60 months’ warranty will have our visible warranty stamp. You must complain to info@northernhunting.com within “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect. Include purchase documentation and pictures of the complaint grounds. We will get back to your with a prepaid return label plus a return guide that you fill out and send along with your parcel.

How do I return an order?

You must send your order back to us without undue delay and within 14 days after you have informed us that you want to cancel your purchase. You have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods if you want your money back. When returning items, you are responsible for the goods being safely packed. You bear the responsibility from the time of delivery of the goods. Remember to get a receipt for shipment of the package.

How do I exchange to a different size?

If you need to exchange for a different size, you must return the item and purchase the desired size again. In this way, you ensure that the desired size is in stock.
